LOGO, VISION AND MISSION OF THE COLLEGE
Logo: 
The blue sky represents heaven, the source of true knowledge and the key to wisdom and understanding. The torch of knowledge is lit from heaven and descends on a peak overlooking the permanent site at Gidan Waya.
Flowing from this is a stream, which nourishes the site of the College, turning it into a green pasture of knowledge, beauty and attraction. The yellow ring is one of the colours of the rainbow.
This colour symbolizes knowledge.
The motto, ‘Education for Humanity’ completes the concept introduced by the logo. Both mean, ‘True knowledge is for the service of mankind and humanity’
Vision: We are committed to sound academic excellence in the production of competent teachers of world standard. These are grounded in sound moral and ethical values in specialized areas (in the Sciences, the Liberal Arts, Vocational and Technical Education) under a conducive teaching-learning environment.
Mission: To be the flagship for producing quality professional teachers for basic education through well designed pre-service and in-service programmes.
